IN the lead-up to next weekend’s Grand Final at Windy Hill, the EDFL will slowly reveal the 24 players selected in the inaugural 2018 EDFL Women’s Team of the Year.
Each EDFL Women’s senior coach was asked to submit their Team of the Year nominations prior to the commencement of this year’s finals series.
The EDFL then collated that data to determine the final team that will be revealed over the course of the next seven days.
The end result saw 12 of the 13 participating clubs get represented in the final 24, with minor premier Pascoe Vale contributing the most players (five) to the team.
Beginning on Monday, each line of the team will be revealed across the EDFL’s social media platforms.

As part of the nomination process, the coaches were also asked to nominate their Captain and Coach for the 2018 EDFL Women’s Team of the Year.
While the final side will be revealed by the end of next week, the EDFL will not reveal the Captain and Coach of the Team of the Year until the EDFL Awards night on Thursday, September 27th.
For now… we can reveal the clubs represented across each position in the final side.
